Amanda and Joe

I'm blogging their wedding completely out of order but I just wanted to share these images. Here are a few from their wonderful wedding. They're such an awesome couple, I was honored to be a part of their day. We also got to work with two of our favorite videographers Joe Rosenberger and Daniel Boswell who came along to help Joe out. Both of them are wonderfully talented and just a blast to work with. Coordinating the event was the incredible Angel Swanson and her awesome sister Anna.

I processed these a bit differently than I normally do. Let me know what you think!

The church was incredible. The ceremony was held at St. Monica's in Santa Monica.

A few portraits of the couple.

I'll blog more later!

Bryn and Matt's Wedding

Last month I shot Bryn and Matt's beautiful wedding, coordinated by one of my favorites, Michelle McFarlane of Annie M. Events. The wedding was held at Padua Hills Theater, a really cool venue. Here are a few of my many favorites from this wedding!

The beautiful bride:

The groom looked alright too:

I love this reaction as he sees her coming down the aisle:

A moment during the first dance:
I lieu of a guest book they had a bunch of vintage postcards that people signed.  This is one I used for the ring shot.
The grand exit... why don't more people do this here in California?

Nita and Nat

Nita and Nat got married a few weeks ago and asked me to design some custom thank you cards using an image from their day. I love the image they picked and loved it more after I played with it for a bit. I'm going to get caught up on blogging during the "off season" and this is one of the weddings you'll see. From her Stuart Weitzman shoes to her Reem Acra gown, the details at this wedding were awesome. Look for more from this wedding soon but in the meantime here's one of my favorites from their day!

Long Day 5

We just got in after a LONG day of driving. Portland to San Francisco. We unfortunately didn't take amy pictures today and even if we did the only Internet I have is my iPhone. So I leave you with an iPhone picture of some of my polaroids from this week. I'm just in love with them. With the right light they look incredible and have the sweetest vibe. When I get home I'm going to get some good scans of them so you van see them better but until then this is the best I can do.

Day 4

Today we spent the whole day just hanging out in Portland. As much as I've enjoyed the driving it was nice to have the whole day to relax. This morning we got up and were a little worried that it would be raining all day but we went downtown hoping it would clear up. After sitting around for a while the rain let up and we hit the streets. It ended up being a beautiful, crisp autumn day... exactly what I was hoping for on this trip. Portland is a really cool town so I was hoping to get some great cityscape pictures but it was so tough to get a decent shot without a million cars in it. Eventually I gave up and just started shooting details I found interesting. I was a little disappointed coming back to the hotel knowing that I didn't get what I wanted to but after looking through the images I'm super happy with what I got. Tomorrow we are heading back down to Northern California, this time taking the inland route. Should be fun seeing totally different scenery than what we saw on the way up here.

Some of you have asked about buying prints of the images from the trip. When we get home and get things settled I'll have the images online to purchase. Prints will be hand signed and numbered with a limited number of prints made. I'll give you guys more info when the images are up.

Here are some of the images from today.

Day 3

We got up this morning and headed up the coast and after a couple of hours finally made it out of California. Tonight we had dinner with Mike Carpenter a photographer from the Portland area. It was a great day. We're going to hang out all day tomorrow in Portland which I'm pretty excited about. I figured since I posted mostly landscapes yesterday I'd mix it up a little bit today. Here are a few images from the day.
